YOUR CHALLENGE AT WIRE

As our Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding Wire's presence and market share in the secure communications space. You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to drive growth, identify new opportunities, and develop strategic relationships. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Work in partnership with the Mid-Market / Enterprise AE to define a territory plan. 

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and create new business opportunities.

  • Develop and optimise the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads and conversion tied to KPI’s. 

  • Drive a targeted ABM approach, whilst also ensuring there is a wide capture market plan. 

  • Create and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and partners.

  • Implement business development initiatives that align with Wire's growth objectives.

  • Collaborate with product and customer success teams to assist with a product-led growth plan. 

  • Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform business strategies.

  • Present business development forecasts, pipeline updates, and strategic plans for the segment to senior management.

  • Support the marketing team by providing feedback and insights from customer interactions.

  • Support the marketing team with campaign execution and attend Key Events to drive the pipeline.

YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience in both the Public & Private sector (this needs to be demonstrable)

  • Experience in both the European & US Markets 

  • 3+ years of professional experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish, German is nice to have. 

  • Strong expertise in sales strategy, lead generation, and partnership building.

  • Good Understanding of MEDDIC or MEDDPICC qualification methodology. 

  • Proficiency in using SalesForce, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and other business analytics tools.

  • Solid understanding of the tech industry, especially in productivity, collaboration, and or secure communications or SaaS products.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
