Be ready to play an essential role by joining our Information Security Team. You will become a pioneer in transforming how organisations and governments communicate securely. You will work closely with the Director of Information Security and interact with the engineering, product, and other teams regularly. Your new areas of work are:

• Support our product security as well as compliance efforts.

• Develop, implement and maintain platform and system security concepts (e.g. K8S, EC2, talos, Hetzner, docker).

• Support maintaining cyber security controls and operations security.

• Develop and maintain scripting/automation for security controls.

• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, responding promptly and appropriately to mitigate threats and minimize impact.

• Advise our engineers regarding concepts and implementation of security requirements.

• Support technical due-diligence to ensure compliance with our internal and external security requirements.

• Contribute to internal and external audits, risk assessments and threat modeling workshops.

• Help maintain relevant documentation in tools like GitHub, Jira, Confluence.

• Support Identity and Access Management activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP) are highly desirable.

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer, DevSecOps, or a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

• In-depth knowledge and expertise in Platform Security practices and methodologies, with hands-on experience implementing security in a DevOps environment.

• Proven experience as a pentester and security researcher.

• Familiarity with cloud security, network security, and application security.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and some more unknown platforms as well.

• Experience creating and reviewing System Security Plans (SSPs).

• Ability to develop and maintain code for security automation.

• Excellent knowledge and experience in Terraform or Ansible.

• Basic understanding of information security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, CIS, GDPR).

• Ideally experience as an IT administrator in a cloud-native environment.
