YOUR CHALLENGE AT WIRE
Be ready to play an essential role by joining our Web Team in Berlin. You will help build the future of Wire and become a pioneer in transforming how organizations, governments, and people communicate securely. You work closely with the Product Team and interact with other client development teams regularly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and development of Wire’s Web and Desktop application, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience, while not compromising on security.
- Enhance and architect a scalable and maintainable front-end using React and TypeScript, setting standards for code quality and best practices.
- Drive the adoption and integration of the latest web technologies (Web Workers, WebRTC & Web Assembly) to enhance the performance, security and responsiveness of our applications.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Spearhead initiatives to implement cutting-edge technologies and open standards (like MLS) that ensure private and secure communications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other development teams, to translate complex product requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of feature development, from initial design through testing and deployment, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
- Drive innovation and technical strategy to keep Wire at the forefront of secure communication and user-friendly technology.
