YOUR CHALLENGE AT WIRE
You’ll join our Web Platform QA team, working within a multidisciplinary group of engineers and product managers to ensure our web client delivers a world-class, secure user experience.
Our QA engineers work as embedded members of delivery teams — collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the full software lifecycle. You’ll also be part of the QA chapter, where best practices and learnings are shared across all product lines.
Your Key Responsibilities
Work as a core member of the Web Platform team to design, build, and execute feature-driven test cases and regression tests.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to define test requirements and ensure the testability of new features.
Create, maintain, and execute feature, integration, regression, and E2E test suites.
Lead and coordinate testing and release activities for major, minor, and patch releases of the Web Platform.
Drive and continuously improve automation coverage, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Manage, track, and analyse defects and bug reports, ensuring timely resolution and visibility.
Produce and maintain test documentation and reports in Testiny.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices, automation, and product quality.
Support and mentor peers, sharing knowledge within the QA community.
YOUR PROFILE
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Experienced QA professional with 5–7 years in software testing, ideally with web-based products.
Proficiency in test automation frameworks and building automation suites (preferably Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium).
Familiar with agile delivery methodologies and iterative development (feature flags, A/B testing, rapid releases).
Strong understanding of functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and UI testing techniques.
Skilled in root cause analysis, documentation, and attention to detail.
Confident communicator, comfortable presenting test results, demos, or prototypes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good understanding of the secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and best practices for security testing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Collaborative, mentoring-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Essential Experience
5–7 years of experience in software quality assurance, including extensive web testing.
Proven experience with automation tools (Playwright preferred; Cypress, Selenium, or TestRail a plus).
Hands-on experience using and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Strong understanding of functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and UI testing techniques.
Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and their impact on user experience.
Experience working with third-party service integrations.
ISTQB / GTB Foundation Level certification or equivalent test qualification.
Desirable but Not Essential
Experience in security testing (e.g., penetration testing, SAST/DAST) and contributing to security audits or certifications.
Experience as a Scrum Master or with agile team facilitation.
Familiarity with testing for privacy and encryption-related applications.
